Bali Lattice
I wondered what would happen if I used a secondary block with the Wheel of Mystery. I modified the Flowering Snowball block by matching the seams to the seams of the Wheel of Mystery, to give a flow across the quilt. By playing with the colors I achieved the effect of two distinct layers in the quilt. Wheels in the background form the first layer, and the lattice forms the foreground layer. The quilting features strawberries to mimic one of the fabrics.
