Christmas Down Under
2004 (20" x 60") (51cms x 153cms) I am in a quilting group and the challenge for the year was to make a Christmas quilt. As Christmas is summertime in New Zealand, I immediately thought of using the wonderful strawberry and grape print fabrics for a real Christmas Down Under. I used the golden fabric to offset the red and green and form a star shape for the quilt. The quilting was mainly outlining the fruit.
