Sunday in the Pacific
2004 (41" x 41") (104cms x 104cms) The inspiration for this quilt was the beautifully flower decorated hats the ladies from the Pacific Islands wear to church. Looking down on the congregation and viewing a sea of circles of hats with beautiful flowers, and the darkness of the furniture of the church made me think that this was a quilt waiting to be made.
