Welcome
Welcome to my web page. I am delighted with the design and I hope you will visit the site many times. The design shows a compilation of two of my quilts with Kapiti Island in the background. I live in this area of the lower North Island of New Zealand.
I am a quilter and an embroiderer and enjoy teaching my own original projects, both in Patchwork and Embroidery. I have a "What happens if" policy for the students which means we have a lot of fun and get some great results. I like the addition of embroidery either by hand or machine to my patchwork, I feel it gives an extra dimension to the flat surface. To learn where I'll be teaching, visit my Teaching Schedule page. To learn more about my classes, visit my Classes page where I've also included an image from each class and some examples of my students' work.
Inspiration for my work often comes from my garden and the unique landscape of New Zealand.
